Class Schedule and Information
Below is information for all the classes at the October Retreat. Know what you want to sign up for? Click here to submit your class registration.
Class 1 – Fall Notebook Album – Friday, October 6 – 1:30 pm
Instructor: Lori
Cost: $15
Capacity: 11
Join Lori to make a fall notebook using 4×6 journal cards from Prima’s Amber Moon Collection. You will be provided with chipboard, a complete pad of the journal cards and all the paper necessary to cover the pages in the album along with a few extra items thrown in.
Payment for this class will be added directly to your store account.
Class 2 – Autumn Paper Doll Wall Hanging – Friday, October 6 – 3:30 pm
Instructor: Anne
Cost: $20 without a frame / $25 with a frame.
Capacity: 12
Join Anne to make an 8×8 autumn Paper Doll wall hanging. Black frames available by request at time of class registration. No extra frames will be available at the retreat.

Class 3 – Birthday Sampler – Saturday, October 7 – 10:00 am

Join Amy to make a birthday sampler to add to your sampler collection.

Class 4 – Mintay Fun Fold Card Class- Saturday, October 7 – 1:30 pm
Instructor: Kathy

Join Kathy to make 3 different Fun-Fold Cards using Mintay paper (really just a bit of non-traditional and a bit of fun). You will also receive written instructions to be able to recreate the cards on your own.

Class 5 – Mini Notebook Class- Saturday, October 7 – 3:30 pm
Instructor: Melinda
Cost: $10
Capacity: 10
Join Melinda to learn how to make a mini notebook that you can carry in your purse. Melinda will provide chipboard, book binding tape, and TYVEC. You will need to provide black cardstock and your favorite paper to cover the notebook.

Class 6 – Ocean 49 & Market Folio – Sunday, October 8 – 10:00 am
Instructor: Beverly
Cost: $30
Capacity: 12
Join Beverly to make a folio using the 49 And Market Foundations 4″X6″ Envelope Folio Set and the 49 and Market Ocean paper. You will make a watercolor painting or two for your folio as well.

Make A Journal Page
We didn’t realize it would become a “thing” but it did. We have really enjoyed seeing everyone’s craftiness at our retreat activities so we’re doing it again. Thanks to Crafty Girl Lauren for this suggestion.
At the October retreat you will be given a journal page. Your challenge is to decorate it however you want to. Your deadline to display your journal page is our customary 7:00 pm Saturday evening.
So what is different this time? You will not get your journal page back this time. Your journal pages will be inserted into an A5 Classic Journal from Elizabeth Crafts. (Actually into a couple journals since there are so many of you!!) Winners will be drawn from those who participate and make a journal page. Winners will get the journal and an assortment of pages from the entries as a memento of their Crafty Girl Retreat.
What a great way to share with all of your fellow Crafty Girls! We encourage everyone to participate in this Crafty Girl Fun!
