We have a couple simple rules for attending our events. We don’t like rules either, but we needed a few just to keep things fair.
- Each person attending a class must have a Meetup account. This is required so we know the names of each person attending. And in the event that something happens, we use Meetup to contact attendees. (Be sure you have your notifications from Meetup turned on.)
- You never need to pay Meetup. If you are asked to pay, close out of that window. The store pays to have a business account with Meetup so you do not need to pay anything.
- Classes that require pre-payment must be paid in advance of the class. The due date for payment is presented in the class description. If there is no date shown, the due date is 14 days prior to the class. Failure to pay will result in being moved to the bottom of the waitlist to allow others to attend the class.
- Note: Classes taught by independent instructors may or may not require pre-payment. This is at the discretion of the independent instructor and will be indicated in the class listing. For these classes, payment is made directly to the instructor. If payment in advance is required, instructions to contact that instructor will be included in the class listing.
- In the event you need to cancel for an event, you must cancel at least 7 days in advance of any class or crop. We ask for this advanced notice to allow us to let others in the event. Last minute cancellations do not allow for enough notice for others to arrange their schedules. Failure to remove yourself from classes and crops less than 7 days before the event will result in your account being suspended / not allowed to sign up for additional events. Exceptions will be considered for unforeseen medical circumstances.
- As a matter of housekeeping, we have implemented a retention policy. On a regular basis, we review Meetup memberships. Duplicate members as well as members who are not actively registering for and/or attending events will be removed.
