New Class – Bible Journaling With Anne

We are excited to announce a new class coming to The Scrapbook Studio. Instructor Anne will begin hosting a Bible Journaling Class in 2026. You might be familiar with Anne from her Paper Doll series of classes.

Check our events page to see the dates for these classes.

For those interested in this class series, below is a list of items to consider when preparing for the class.

  • Journaling Bible – You pick the version. Anne uses a large print NIV version. The Bible should have a blank margin column on each page. Left on the left page and right on the right page. Pick the Bible that speaks to you. Some have pages that you can color and take notes and/or do your own artwork. There several different Bibles available on Amazon, Day Spring, and Christian Planner. (Editor note: Some customers have reported seeing Bibles that would work at your local Ollie’s.)
  • Bible tabs – Anne has tabs on her Bible. This is totally optional. The tabs are the names of the books of the Bible. It helps find the book that you will be working in. Recommendation is to stay away from “blingy” looking tabs as they can be hard to read.
  • Bible highlighters – Choose a highlighter that is made for Bible highlighting. Your highlighter should not bleed through. Anne uses a wax highlighter. When you order your Bible, often there will be a recommended highlighter (and journaling pen) to bundle with your purchase.
  • Journaling Pens – Again, be sure your pen does not bleed through the thin Bible pages. You may find pens that you use for journaling in your scrapbooks will work. Anne has tested one of the Zig pens available at The Scrapbook Studio and it worked well. Ask in store to be sure to get the correct pen.
